It’s National Cancer Survivor Day
“It’s National Cancer Survivor Day.
This is to all the cancer Survivors, Fighters and Thrivers...
To those of you living scan to scan, infusion to infusion, surgery to surgery.
To those without hair, losing parts of yourself, losing sacred time.
To those of you digging deep to attend ballgames, recitals, graduations, social gatherings near and far.
To those of you who feel like you are trapped inside, looking at the world outside pass you by.
To the caregivers standing by your side.
You may feel lost, you may feel scared, you may feel broken.
But you are definitely not alone.
There are millions of us to support you, including me.
I know you can fight through this and do things you never imagined you could do.
Because your body may feel weak, but I pray your spirit will never break 💗”
- Sarah Franzen (Cancer Survivor & Thriver)
It’s the mission of Share. to teach people to share their blessings to connect with love and empathy. I’ve known Sarah closely for ~ 2 years now and she’s been through so much since being diagnosed with breast cancer on April 27, 2021. Age 36. Invasive Ductal HER2 positive breast cancer.
She continues to maintain such a high level of faith and dependence on God.. through it all. For me, that’s inspirational. I am thankful to have met her, to be her friend, and to have been able to connect to her through, respectively, the worst seasons of our lives.
Thank you for SHAREing your story and your journey, Sarah. So many people are benefiting from your vulnerability and persistent faith.
